LONDON–(COMMERCIAL THREAD) – The fourteenth edition of the World Branding Awards saw more than 500 brands from over 60 countries named “Brand of the Year” and welcomed more than 100 guests from around the world to connect remotely and celebrate their achievements at the first Virtual Ceremony forums.

Spotify, Zoom, Yakult, NetFlix, Amazon, The Lego Group, Neutrogena, Nescafé, Heinz, L’Oréal, Starbucks, Google and VISA were among the top brands in the world announced as global winners at the first online ceremony at the Palais de Kensington.

Winners from Japan include Nippon Rent-A-Car, Sukiya, Natural Aqua Gel Cure, Family Mart, MUFG, and Natural Aqua Gel Cure. Other national level winners include Telstra (Australia), Bangkok Bank (Thailand), Tanduay (Philippines), ToastBox (Singapore), Carrefour (France), Nahdi (Saudi Arabia), Tanishq (India), Airland (Hong Kong) and Sinarmas Land (Indonesia) to name a few.

Only twelve brands were selected to receive the regional level award this year, including Farmhouse, H&M, Mr DIY, De’Longhi and Pandora – a feat only a select few were able to achieve through the unique process of nominating, judging and awarding it. forum rating, which requires 70% consumer participation to find the audience’s favorite brand.

“2021 has been extremely difficult for businesses around the world. COVID-19 has forced many brands to adjust to a new normal, and the awards celebrate the efforts these companies have put into their branding and marketing. Over 1.3 million consumer votes have been received since the inception of the Awards and this year over 345,000 consumers participated in the nomination process worldwide. On average, there are only 7 winning brands in each country, proving that winning a World Branding Award is indeed a remarkable achievement.

The event was hosted by TV presenter, Jemma Forte. The Forum plans to return to Kensington Palace next year.
