At first glance, the feeling of oneness, pride, unity and purpose shared among over 250 runners on Thanksgiving morning is reason enough to show up – and more than enough reason to thank!
With a second look though, and a little momentary thought, here’s what we’re most grateful for: the strength and support of over 115 local businesses, who have come together to help raise the highest turkey trot total. Of the history. The courage and determination of our friends and neighbors – especially Josh Dann and Ben LeBlanc, who have bred and raced more than anyone else, for the second year in a row! – who trotted thousands of kilometers throughout the month of November! And for the staggering sum of $ 73,000 which will go directly to keeping our neighbors happy, healthy and productive! That’s right, YOU helped raise over $ 73,000 for your community!
