Hall, who will report to the President Vic Schmerbeck, brings a rich perspective of the healthcare system and payers to the Emerus leadership team. He also offers first-hand experience as an Emerus partner in his role with Highmark Health and Allegheny Health Network. Along with Emerus, Hall will oversee strategic company-wide growth and development initiatives, including development, sales, marketing and real estate.
Over the past 10 years at Highmark, Hall has worked with Highmark Ventures, his corporate investment arm, as Chief of Staff to the CEO of Highmark, as Vice President of Corporate Strategy and, most recently, as Head of Corporate Partnerships. In this capacity, he led the development, strategic direction and market execution of institutional business partnerships. Prior to that, Hall was CEO of two health-related companies, worked at UPMC Ventures, in corporate banking with Mellon Bank, and he also worked in legislative and government affairs with United States Senate.
Along with its existing growth and development teams, the hiring of Hall has better positioned Emerus to expand the communities, patients and health systems that it is privileged to serve and reach as partners.
